Navigation Markers

The Association maintains over one hundred navigation markers on the lake.  These markers indicate the presence of rocks and schoals on the lake.

A marker may be either a floating red buoy or a flashing orange beacon.

The markers do not qualify as navigation buoys and do not indicate the presence of a channel.

The Six Mile Lake Cottagers Association assumes no liability for the placement of the navigation markers placed on hazardous areas of the lake.
